Freddy Dewe Mathews is part of Ground Work curated by Holly Willats & Alma Zevi at New Art Centre/ Roche Court in Wiltshire. The exhibition features five emerging artists, each responding to Roche Court’s history and natural setting in new and surprising ways.

Join us at 4pm on Saturday 1st August for Nothing More Than Image by Sarah Bayliss: An encounter between screen, media and live/ pre-recorded feeds, which mainline the viewer in to the image-video-device that refers to itself to itself to itself, in pursuit of breaking point.

This event is in response to The Eternal Frame, (1975) by Ant Farm and T.R. Uthco and part of What it is, is figuring out what it is.

Open Fridays & Saturdays 12-6pm
The Eternal Frame will be screened every 30 minutes during these hours.

15/07/2015 Ultimate Media Event: An Ant Farm Double Bill

Wednesday 22nd July

Join us at Space In Between as we screen a double bill of The Eternal Frame (1975) and Media Burn (1975) with an introduction from Hannah Barton from 7pm.

This event is part of What it is, is figuring out what it is; a project assembled around Ant Farm and T.R. Uthco’s video piece The Eternal Frame (1975) featuring original contributions from five contemporary writers and artists, curated by Hannah Barton.

A drawing pictures off the internet party hosted by Jessie McLaughlin

Watercolours / pens / pencils / crayons will be provided, bring your sketchbook and a few pictures off the internet of someone you’d like to draw (selfies welcome!). Drawing will take place to a soundtrack of lecture extracts, tunes and conversation about representing self.

15/06/2015 Simon Linington at Hayward Gallery Concrete Cafe

Simon Linington presents two site-specific photograms for his solo show Out of the Dark, at Hayward Gallery’s Concrete Cafe. Hung in the exact location in which they were made, the photograms provide a record of the cafe’s temporary transformation into Linington’s studio and draw attention to the artist’s body as a measure of time and space.
