A brief history of girliness – 2016
A brief history of girliness is concerned with visible mechanisms of creative (and self-) production alongside more tacit emotional and material diversions. The arrangement of objects and images in the exhibition is a means of representing, in a managed way, Bailey’s relationship with ambition and forms of mobility that underlie – or undermine – her work.
